(Richmond, KY) – John Austin has joined Forcht Bank as Richmond Market President. As the Market President, Mr. Austin will be focused on continuing to build relationships within Madison County, supporting small business growth, and leading a Retail Banking team. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in commercial lending and small business development.

Austin is active in the community, volunteering on several boards. Most recently, he is serving as the Board of Director of Bluegrass Care Navigators.

John is a graduate of Morehead State University’s Elmer R. Smith’s College of Business and Technology.  He is also graduate of the BB&T School of Banking at Wake Forest University, as well as a member of the Kentucky Bankers Association. Mr. Austin enjoys staying active professionally and personally, as he enjoys working out, hiking, swimming, and fishing. John keeps his religious values close to him and spends time with Immanuel Baptist Church singing in Worship Choir while also serving as Deacon.
