Forcht Bank is thrilled to announce that the City of Corbin and Mayor Suzie Razmus have officially proclaimed September 12th as "Forcht Bank Day." This special day marks the 40th year anniversary and pays tribute to the Bank’s historic roots in Corbin, Kentucky.
The Banks’s journey began in 1985 when Mr. Terry Forcht, alongside a group of local investors, founded the Tri-County National Bank in Corbin, which is now known as Forcht Bank.
Reflecting on this significant milestone, Forcht Bank President and CEO, Tucker Ballinger, expressed, "Being honored with a city proclamation in Corbin, the very place where our founder Terry Forcht opened our first branch, is incredibly meaningful. This recognition reflects the strong community partnerships that continue to guide our future."
During the proclamation ceremony, Mayor Razmus presented Mr. Forcht with the proclamation. Mr. Forcht was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Marion Forcht, Forcht Bank President and CEO Tucker Ballinger, and Forcht Bank Regional President Michael Sharpe.
