Forcht Bank was honored to again present Commerce Lexington's Salute to Small Business Awards on Friday, August 16. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of recognizing so many exceptional companies and organizations, and, in our 12th year presenting, it was no different.

Forcht Bank is delighted to announce a Brand Partnership deal with University of Kentucky Men's Basketball player Trent Noah. This is the bank's second year bringing two like-minded Kentucky families together, the Noah's and the Forcht's.

Forcht Bank has promoted Neal White to Northern Kentucky market president. White joined Forcht Bank in 2018 and has over 25 years of banking experience. As Market President, White is responsible for the banking relationships of the Bank’s commercial clients, who range in size from small businesses to middle market and commercial real estate companies.

Forcht Bank has awarded three graduating high school seniors a scholarship of $5,000 as part of our Community Impact Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year. Jackson Utter, Chloe Simpson, and Sydnee Moore will each receive $5,000 to help further their education. 

Forcht Bank employees and their families raised over $5,000 for the American Heart Association, a record number in donations since the bank began fundraising and participating in the Central Kentucky Heart Walk. On May 11, the Forcht Bank team joined together for the walk at Keeneland to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.

Terry and Marion Forcht have been named the 2024 winners of the Award of Excellence for Private Individuals by the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation.  The Forchts were presented the award during a dinner and ceremony at the 36^th Annual East Kentucky Leadership Conference, which was held this year in Corbin.

In a year where food banks saw an increase in demand from families struggling to put food on their tables, Forcht Bank’s annual charitable food drive, “Stick a Forcht in Hunger” stepped in to help meet that demand. In its sixth year, the food drive collected an all-time high – 26,745 non-perishable food items donated by employees, local businesses, and community citizens.
