Lexington, Ky. (May 13, 2024) -- Forcht Bank employees and their families raised over $5,000 for the American Heart Association, a record number in donations since the bank began fundraising and participating in the Central Kentucky Heart Walk.

On May 11, the Forcht Bank team joined together for the walk at Keeneland to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.

“The collective effort of our employees has led to a remarkable achievement, raising over $5,000 in donations. With five teams and 34 participants coming together for the Central Kentucky Heart Walk, it's a testament to the power of community and shared goals,” said Forcht Bank President and CEO Tucker Ballinger. “This accomplishment not only reflects the dedication of each individual but also the spirit of unity towards a common cause."

Forcht Bank’s fundraising goal this year of $4,000 was pleasantly surpassed. The bank raised $5,194, up from our 2023 fundraising total of $3,145. The bank also ranked 9th out of 68 Central Kentucky businesses that participated this year.

A core guiding value of the bank is our mission to volunteer and give back to our communities. Forcht Bank is proud to participate in the Central Kentucky Heart Walk each year and raise funds to draw attention to heart disease.
